For the past 20 years, The Lockwood Agency has been an integral part of successfully marketing World Ag Expo, the largest agricultural exposition of its kind. With our help, World Ag Expo has become a household name around the globe and makes headlines around the world each year. The Lockwood Agency created the theme and artwork for the 2010 show.

The Lockwood Agency was a major player in the passage of Measure R, the only new sales tax initiative to pass in California in November 2006. People said it couldn’t be done, but our strategy worked. In less than three months, we put together a successful political campaign that received 67.2 percent voter approval for the one-half cent sales tax for transportation projects.


College of the Sequoias

College of the Sequoias

After hiring The Lockwood Agency, the third time was a charm for College of the Sequoias in its quest to pass two bond measures totaling $128 million. The community college was defeated twice before in its bond measure attempts. Some of the biggest challenges of this campaign included getting voters to back both bonds in separate voting districts in one of the worst economic periods in years. Our strategy worked, with both measures passing overwhelmingly in both voting districts.

Tulare County Workforce Investment Board

As a recipient of recent stimulus funding, The Tulare County Workforce Investment Board called upon The Lockwood Agency to develop a marketing plan just weeks before a big event intended to unveil stimulus-funded training programs for adults and recently laid off workers. In a matter of weeks, we helped our client reach a very specific target audience to attend several Career Connection Expos hosted by the organization. Each event drew hundreds of attendees, providing them with useful information to connect with careers- the ultimate goal of the Tulare County Workforce Investment Board.
